Vestigia

Mapping what remains.

What would connection change?

This is a visual thought experiment. It connects the observed cluster to make a conservation question visible; it does not forecast a population.

before the story.

Vestigia uses GBIF’s public occurrence-search API in the browser. Records are filtered to observations with coordinates and displayed as points. Species status is kept as a separate research layer so the interface does not turn a handful of sightings into a false population estimate.
